Shop Update and a Feature

Just added three new Wayfarer Purses to the Pesky Cat Designs shop. Two in buttery soft faux suede and one in corduroy.

Yesterday morning I took this photo of the studio. I always tidy up the work space in the evening so in the morning everything is organized and ready to go. It's not always this tidy midday.

Earlier in the week my Foldover Clutch was featured on Refinery 29! Thanks to the feature the shop received a lot of traffic and two of these clutches have sold. Plan to add another one very soon.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Hope it is relaxing and enjoyable!

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

My One Second of Fame

I had my one second of fame today! I was hoping for the 15 minutes promised by Andy Warhol but I can't complain.

My first name is spelled wrong and my head is turned to the side because the producer asked me a question just as the security guard was taking the photo. I was allowed in the building with my profile shot so all was well.

The CBS feature was broadcast nationally today. I was not at home and only had access to a small portable black and white TV with so so reception. Yes, rabbit ears. In the opening shot, CBS Sunday Morning News anchor Charles Osgood points to my handbags for about a second. he he  But I am still honored that they chose my bags from the th…

Home Sweet Home

After spending several months on a job assignment that took me away from my studio, I'm finally back in St. Augustine, FL. I worked with a wonderful group of folks and enjoyed my stay in Tarrytown, NY which is about 40 minutes by train into NYC.
I'm eager to get back to designing and creating and have lots of new ideas I can't wait to get started on.

Above is a shot of Millie, a wonderful coworker back in New York, modeling the Harris Tweed Patchwork Satchel. Wish I had her here for my next photo shoot!
