An Interview with Pesky Cat Designs

If you head over to Lil Fish Studios today you can read an interview about me and my work. Thanks so much Lisa for this wonderful feature! Lisa also has an Etsy shop, LilFishStudios, that is filled with her amazing nature inspired creations. I've been a fan of her work for a long time so when she asked about featuring my work I was quite honored.

Thanks again Lisa for putting together such a wonderful feature!
For those of you wondering about the FOX 5 News feature it aired on April 15th but I missed it! I have not been able to find a link to it online but when I do I'll be sure to post it. :)
How exciting--I'm going to go check it out right now! And I love the color of your bag! That, and it looks so classy!
Off to go check it out. Hope you are having a wonderful week. Beautiful bag. =D

congratulations, it is a lovely feature - I can't say which bag I like best but I would say any picture with Anni peaking from behind is my winner!

The Rainbow Bridge

Had to say goodbye to my sweet Anni this past Tuesday. She had been sick for several weeks and after my Vet confirmed that she would not get better only worse, I decided I could not let her suffer. So at around 2 pm she traveled to the rainbow bridge. She had been my buddy for more than 15 years.

NYC 2007
When I first started sewing she would often sit right next to the sewing machine occasionally swatting at the lose thread at the end of my fabric. My partner walked by one day and said " Are you being a pesky little cat Anni?" That stayed in my mind so when it was time to name the shop, "Pesky Cat Designs" seemed perfect. She was actually far from pesky, with such a sweet and gentle demeanor.

I will never forget my little sweetie. She will be in my heart forever.

Time

My work pictured on the left has taken time away from my work on the right. Spending free time these days with friends and walks on the beach.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
