Shades of Sapphire

Yesterday I discovered my Wayfarer Purse featured in Etsy's gift guide titled Shades of Sapphire. It celebrates the hues of sapphire, September's birthstoneI am always perusing Etsy's gift guides to keep up to date with what is popular and to see if any of my items might fit into a gift guide. If one of my works fits into a category I will tag my item accordingly. I will also consider creating an item that will fit into a guide. If you are a seller and want to see if you have been featured go to Heartomatic and just type in your shop name. Below I posted some more lovely items featured in the Gift Guide. By the way, sapphire is my birthstone!

The Pesky Cat's Day Dream

Katzenhohle by Dornroeschen Filzunikate I recently came across this incredible cat bed made by German artist Dornroeschen Filzunikate. It would bring a bit of nature into my urban NYC home. An Etsy press agent recently informed me that the story aired April 15th and he also missed it. He said he is trying to get a copy of it from the studio. I'll be sure to post a link to it when it becomes ava

Spring is Here!

To celebrate the spring equinox I decided to take the entire day off from working in the studio. OK, I confess I did sew one button onto an applique, but that's it! The rest of the day was spent bike riding, watching waves and smelling spring flowers wafting through the air. The weather was absolutely beautiful with temperatures in the mid 70's. No jacket required. Just a t-shirt and sunglasses. Hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying the arrival of spring!
