If you head over to Thea and Sami's blog you can catch the latest Friday Follower post featuring me and my handmade bags! Thanks so much Thea for putting together such a lovely feature. Thea is a textile designer and fabric printer who lives and works in Brisbane, Australia. I've been following her blog for quite some time and her creativity and energy always gives me so much inspiration. Thea and Sami design and hand screen-print natural fabrics for home and body. Their growing range of products includes a boutique of eco-friendly homewares. You can check out her gorgeous fabric and products at the Thea and Sami store.

Shop notice: I should have some new bags in the Pesky Cat Designs shop tomorrow just in time for Black Friday. I also have a selection of bags on sale to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.

New Harris Tweed Patchwork

Just added a couple of one-of-a-kind Harris Tweed patchwork bags to the Pesky Cat Designs shop. It will be the perfect bag to pair up with your favorite fall or winter coat and add a pop of color to your day.
To create the flap I cut out squares of Harris Tweed wool and interface each piece. Then I play around arranging the different colors and patterns. That's the most fun part. When I am satisfied with the result I begin to sew them together. And that is how the patchwork flap evolves.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead. Enjoy!

Life, Work and Purses

Some of you may have noticed that production at the Pesky Cat Designs shop has slowed down this year. I've taken on several outside commitments/jobs that leave me a limited amount of time to work in my studio. I plan to spend the limited time I have this year working more on one-of-a-kind purses using my most popular applique designs.
I'll be posting new purses to my Facebookpage as they become available in my shop.
Stay tuned and be well!
