Haha, that's one of the things I wanted to do this weekend with a business page but don't know where to start. Will 'like' you when I do. x
Cheers to you Feyza! Thanks for stopping by. :)

Thea- I do not know why I put it off for so long too! It's pretty easy to start the business page. Just make sure you choose Facebook Page versus Facebook Group. When you have some free time ( I know that is hard to come by) just sign up. I went to other people's pages to get an idea on how to put it together. But in general it is a lot more simple then it looks. Good luck. I'll fan you as soon as you do! :)

I've done that but what's driving me crazy is how to stop things going to my personal page. I have become a fan of yours but again as myself, and not as Thea & Sami which I would prefer. I will have to get somebody to show me. I don't like new technology :)
Thea- It is confusing when your facebook page goes back and forth with you personal page. The way to avoid that is start a business page with a new account/ email address from your personal page. I made the mistake of having them in the same account. But now I would have to cancel the whole thing and start from scratch to separate them.

The Pesky Cat's Day Dream

Katzenhohle by Dornroeschen Filzunikate I recently came across this incredible cat bed made by German artist Dornroeschen Filzunikate. This beautiful piece of functional art called a Katzenhohle , cat cave, is handmade of felted wool. It's definitely the most unique cat bed I have ever seen. It would bring a bit of nature into my urban NYC home. I think my Anni would love a cat cave although her favorite spots right now are the pillow behind my head in bed, a straw basket that was meant to store magazines and a storage box made from fabric that becomes a hammock when she sleeps in it. My sweet Anni FOX 5 Update : A while back I wrote a post about a story that Fox 5 news was doing on Etsy and the handmade market. I was interviewed in my studio as part of the feature. An Etsy press agent recently informed me that the story aired April 15th and he also missed it. He said he is trying to get a copy of it from the studio. I'll be sure to post a link to it when it becomes availab...

Music Inspired

Pink Floyd   Bowie   Red Hot Chili Peppers  Hand-painted hazmat suit with images from Pink Floyd The Wall. This is still a work in progress. Plan to wear to a Halloween party this year. Below shows back of suit.  Closet door painted by me as a teenager around 1980. Music and art has always been a big part of my life. In the past year I have added a music-inspired collection of bags to my shop. The appliques are hand-cut and then machine stitched to the bag. No two bags are ever exactly alike. One-of-a-kind and all handmade by me in my studio from start to finish. See the entire collection here.
