My New Collection and Vegetable Ivory

The Downtown Bag is part of my collection of new designs for the spring and summer. Downtown Bag is a perfect size for everyday use and has four pockets, two interior and two exterior, to keep your things organized. I've adorned the one pictured below with three lovely vintage buttons purchased from ArtsFarm  that are made from vegetable ivory , also known as corozo, a name for the tagua nut found in the South American rain forest. Both humanitarians and environmentalists appreciate its use, says Wikipedia.

These and your other bags are beautiful, Elisa! The all-natural materials and elegant color combinations go so well together and make them perfect for summer. Very, very nice!

Souvenirs from a Road Trip Giveaway!

That's me in Miami Beach, Florida!

I'm back from a fantastic road trip around the South East, USA!  My partner and I started in NYC and went south on Interstate 95 down to Miami Beach, Florida. We made many stops along the way to amble about and see the sites. In honor of this wonderful trip I decided to have a Giveaway! The Giveaway will be my Saddle Bag, pictured to your left, filled with a few souvenirs ( a surprise!) from my trip. To enter the giveaway all you need to do is follow my blog and post a comment about your favorite vacation at the end of this post.  That's it! I'll pick one winner at random (I will use random.org) this coming Monday. Good luck!

Home Sweet Home

After spending several months on a job assignment that took me away from my studio, I'm finally back in St. Augustine, FL. I worked with a wonderful group of folks and enjoyed my stay in Tarrytown, NY which is about 40 minutes by train into NYC.
I'm eager to get back to designing and creating and have lots of new ideas I can't wait to get started on.

Above is a shot of Millie, a wonderful coworker back in New York, modeling the Harris Tweed Patchwork Satchel. Wish I had her here for my next photo shoot!

Time

My work pictured on the left has taken time away from my work on the right. Spending free time these days with friends and walks on the beach.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
