A Glimpse into the Studio

It's Monday and I'm working in my studio. I decided to take a photo of my sewing station before I begin. Corduroy is the fabric of the moment. The handbags posted above should be completed and in my shop by tomorrow. I also plan to cut some fabric for a few new Pleated Everyday Bags. My first new messenger bag sold yesterday! I love its rounded flap design and the adjustable strap. I'll definitely being adding more of those to the shop as well.

New Harris Tweed Purses

Harris Tweed Color Block Purse This week in the studio I did some experimenting combining various Harris Tweed weaves to create a purse. This purse is also a new design measuring at approximately 14" wide, 8.5" high and 2.5" deep. Roomy enough to fit your daily essentials with a stream-lined design to fit comfortably under your arm. Harris Tweed Color Block Purse The purse above is made from Harris Tweed wool in two plain weaves and a barleycorn weave. I love the contrasting colors and textures. Back view of purses above.
