Three New Bags

This week I planned on working in my studio everyday but it turned into a day and a half. I still managed to create three new bags that are now available at the Pesky Cat Designs shop. Most days I begin working in the studio around 10AM and end 5PM. I am very strict about not working past 5PM but my start time can vary. I often have distractions, like lunches and walks for exercise. This week I had a few extra distractions, most of them pleasant so I can't complain. Next week I plan to sew sew sew! The butterfly fabric inside is a sweet surprise. Lining fabrics are my new obsession! And I'm glad to see the bell flower applique back again. Such a pretty one.

This purse is also a new design measuring at approximately 14" wide, 8.5" high and 2.5" deep. Roomy enough to fit your daily essentials with a stream-lined design to fit comfortably under your arm. Harris Tweed Color Block Purse The purse above is made from Harris Tweed wool in two plain weaves and a barleycorn weave. I love the contrasting colors and textures. Back view of purses above. Harris Tweed Two Tone Bag And last but not least, a basket/tote design, using a lovely blue Harris Tweed plain weave and a Macleod check.
