Harris Tweed Patchwork Bag

I just added a couple of new patchwork bags to the Pesky Cat Designs shop made from Harris Tweed wool. The messenger above is made from four different check cloths. The straps are made in a patchwork style as well. I am almost out of all the Harris Tweed wool I had imported from Scotland recently. I absolutely love this cloth and will have to restock very soon!

Elisa, this is a very beautiful bag! So stylish, depending on the outfit, it can be sportive AND elegant! Really pretty!!!
I love this piece--it's gorgeous! The colors are spectacular, and that button sets everything off to perfection!

New Harris Tweed Patchwork

Just added a couple of one-of-a-kind Harris Tweed patchwork bags to the Pesky Cat Designs shop. It will be the perfect bag to pair up with your favorite fall or winter coat and add a pop of color to your day.
To create the flap I cut out squares of Harris Tweed wool and interface each piece. Then I play around arranging the different colors and patterns. That's the most fun part. When I am satisfied with the result I begin to sew them together. And that is how the patchwork flap evolves.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead. Enjoy!

Life, Work and Purses

Some of you may have noticed that production at the Pesky Cat Designs shop has slowed down this year. I've taken on several outside commitments/jobs that leave me a limited amount of time to work in my studio. I plan to spend the limited time I have this year working more on one-of-a-kind purses using my most popular applique designs.
I'll be posting new purses to my Facebookpage as they become available in my shop.
Stay tuned and be well!
