Today's Photo Shoot


Today's photo shoot took place at Anastasia State Park, my favorite place on the island. We biked from the studio with our panniers filled with bags and a camera. It was an absolutely beautiful day with sunny skies. 


I also added a couple of new bags to the Pesky Cat Designs shop today made from PVC-free faux leather. Overall it was a productive and enjoyable day. Come see the video Tom created of the photo shoot here!

This park is such a beautiful spot for a photo shoot. I'm feeling a little jealous . I'm drooling over your seersucker bag in the middle phot. That has summer written all over it & it's beautiful!

I'm sure it's nice to be working with some lighter-weight fabrics now that spring & summer are coming - although that leather one probably isn't light-weight! But it's another beautiful bag!

Amy-The "leather" one is actually faux leather and much lighter than real leather. :)

New Harris Tweed Purses

Harris Tweed Color Block Purse This week in the studio I did some experimenting combining various Harris Tweed weaves to create a purse. This purse is also a new design measuring at approximately 14" wide, 8.5" high and 2.5" deep. Roomy enough to fit your daily essentials with a stream-lined design to fit comfortably under your arm. Harris Tweed Color Block Purse The purse above is made from Harris Tweed wool in two plain weaves and a barleycorn weave. I love the contrasting colors and textures. Back view of purses above. Harris Tweed Two Tone Bag And last but not least, a basket/tote design, using a lovely blue Harris Tweed plain weave and a Macleod check.
