New Purses on the Way

The Wayfarer Purse in Burnt Orange Corduroy with a Leafed Branch Applique

It's been quite busy in the Pesky Cat Designs studio this week. I am happy to say that a lot was accomplished. In the next hour or so I'll be adding new corduroy Wayfarer Purses to the shop. My newest batch of purses all have straps that are lined with the same pretty cotton print fabric as the interior of the purse. I'll also be adding more purses to the shop tomorrow so check back soon!

Thanks for your comments!

Loddelina- I'm very happy that you like your bag. The tweed is a little birthday present. Enjoy!

The Pesky Cat's Day Dream

Katzenhohle by Dornroeschen Filzunikate I recently came across this incredible cat bed made by German artist Dornroeschen Filzunikate. My sweet Anni FOX 5 Update : A while back I wrote a post about a story that Fox 5 news was doing on Etsy and the handmade market. I was interviewed in my studio as part of the feature. An Etsy press agent recently informed me that the story aired April 15th and he also missed it. He said he is trying to get a copy of it from the studio. I'll be sure to post a link to it when it becomes ava

Spring is Here!

To celebrate the spring equinox I decided to take the entire day off from working in the studio. OK, I confess I did sew one button onto an applique, but that's it! The rest of the day was spent bike riding, watching waves and smelling spring flowers wafting through the air. The weather was absolutely beautiful with temperatures in the mid 70's. No jacket required. Just a t-shirt and sunglasses. Hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying the arrival of spring!
