An Interview with Pesky Cat Designs

I've been following Rebecca's lovely blog, Edward and Lilly, for quite some time so when she asked whether I would like to participate in her new segment of interviews called 3 Quick Questions, I was thrilled. Thanks Rebecca for such a lovely feature. You can see the feature and read my interview here at 3 Quick Questions: Pesky Cat Designs. You also have to check out Rebecca's shop, Edward and Lilly, for the sweetest brooches, cutest softies and many other beautifully crafted handmade items.

Great feature!
I guess a lot of us owe our love for sewing to our moms, mine would also make all our fashing (a sort of halloween) costumes, knitted jumpers, hats and scarfs and sewed unique dresses, coats and more.
And all this while working full time.
Hats off to mothers!

New Harris Tweed Purses

Harris Tweed Color Block Purse This week in the studio I did some experimenting combining various Harris Tweed weaves to create a purse. This purse is also a new design measuring at approximately 14" wide, 8.5" high and 2.5" deep. Roomy enough to fit your daily essentials with a stream-lined design to fit comfortably under your arm. Harris Tweed Color Block Purse The purse above is made from Harris Tweed wool in two plain weaves and a barleycorn weave. I love the contrasting colors and textures. Back view of purses above. Harris Tweed Two Tone Bag And last but not least, a basket/tote design, using a lovely blue Harris Tweed plain weave and a Macleod check. All these new bags are now available at the Pesky Cat Designs shop. Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead!
Everything in my shop is now 20% OFF and includes free shipping!
